THE CHALLENGE

Each prank was shot organically. No rehearsed fakery. This means that the post team was at the mercy of the footage. If the prank didn't go well then eish…FiFresh and I had to rack our brains to turn an unfunny prank into a hilarious revelation with some editing magic.

MY ROLE

• Managing editorial pipeline

• Facilitating feedback sessions with producers

• Applying edit feedback from producers and channel

• Supporting the offline edit team with difficult pranks

• Turnover audio to final mix

• Upload and deliver final deliverables to Media Shuttle

THE GOAL

Make the post pipeline the least stressful part of the project. Production on this project was unpredictable (due to the nature of organic pranks), so post-prod had to be solid to support anything production threw our way.

WHAT I LEARNED

Create a strong, predictable system in post, most especially when production is the most unpredictable part of the project.
