THE CHALLENGE

A simple setup: a personality in front of a green screen. No censorship. Just unfiltered thoughts said out loud.
The workflow in post? An offline editor cutting out the fluff and organizing multiple thought trains into a coherent opinion. An online editor laying down music tracks, SFX, and animating simple GFX.
The turnaround time? 1 week for the first draft. To make that deadline, FiFresh and I relied heavily on each other to coordinate and manage our time.

MY ROLE

• Managed editorial workflows from ingest to delivery

• Setting up and organising folder structures

• Templatising project sequences and GFX assets

• Maintained consistency in tone, quality and execution between episodes

To create a repeatable workflow to allow us to focus on the comedy.

WHAT I LEARNED

Listen. Pay attention to what each personality is saying and what they aren't saying. That way, when it's time to put your selects together, it makes the opinion piece more interesting. No one wants to listen to the same sentence said in multiple different ways.
