THE CHALLENGE

Produced by GOAT Originals, I was recruited to be a part of the post-production team tasked with reviving Clash Of The Choirs for a modern audience. This was a monumental task and I believe that we knocked it out the park. That would be my modest response. The pressure to revive this show was high! How do we modernise a beloved show without losing its identity? It took a strong team of editors with musical experience (instrumentalists and/or rappers) to put together a show that was in harmony with the local audience.

THE GOAL

After many MANY drafts amongst the team, the vision became clear - it was all about the human experience of yearning to achieve one's dream. We then focused on wholesome moments and how the competition brought talent together. My favourite part was witnessing choir members evolve into superstars.

WHAT I LEARNED

There is no such thing as a dream too big. Try, try and try again. Always.
There are incredible talents hidden in the most unlikely of places.
